So this is my second go at Cars, and it's not a poem this time. Without really knowing anything about Storm but what's shown in the movie, this is my take on him.

When Jackson Storm is 4, he sees his first Piston Cup race live and becomes enamoured with racing.

When he is 5 he declares to his parents; "I'm going to grow up and be the fastest racer alive!" His parents agree that he certainly could be, thinking he might grow out of it.

When he is 10 he is one of the best at sports at his school, particularly for anything fast; he ends up being one of the fastest if not the fastest.

When he is 11 he wants to be exactly like the rookie Lightning McQueen; right until he purposefully loses the tie breaker race. He doesn't understand why Lightning didn't win then go and help The King. Winning is more important, isn't it?

When he is 13 he joins a junior racing league, it's also the first year Lightning McQueen wins the Piston Cup. His parents realize he's serious about racing and they give him their full support.

When he's 15 he decides he wants to beat Lightning McQueen after he wins another Piston Cup.

When he's 17 he scouted by a new sponsor not quite ready to join the Piston Cup yet.

When he's 22 they're ready, their goal is to stay under radar for the first few races.

Just in time for his 23th birthday he gets to beat Lightning McQueen for the first time and he tells McQueen how nice it is to finally beat him; not that McQueen knew how long he wanted to beat him for. Nearing the end of that season, McQueen crashed, it was bound to happen to the older racer sooner or later.

Jackson was nearing his 24th birthday, when the next season started up. McQueen was back after seeming like he would miss the race. He brought costume girl along, supposedly McQueen's trainer. Then they switched and the trainer beat him! The trainer and the veteran racer beat him. That move had to be the gutsiest move in a long time, no way would that ever be allowed to happen again.

Well now he had completion in the trainer, Cruz Ramirez, number 51, Dinoco's newest great racer. She had better be ready for him; Jackson Storm had a new goal and he would succeed, like he always did when he put his mind to it. He beat Lightning McQueen when he wanted to, surely he could beat his apprentice.

So I wrote this while camping because I was thinking about Cars and I didn't have access to anything Cars related (no internet or even good phone service so not even fan fics). So I wrote a few things but out of all things I wrote that was Cars, I liked this one best with only minor editing. All the other ones I wrote, I feel like they're just too introspective, like I'm already retreading treaded ground.
