A VERY belated birthday ficlet for my dear tzel (aka GNP). Love you dear, thanks for all you've done for me and mine!

"Santana we spend less time touching in school than we did before you were out! I know that's mostly because you didn't think anyone could see us for what we were to each other back then, but especially in Glee club, no one is watching us now. Really, it's okay if you hold my hand, or put your legs on my lap, or lean against me, I promise."

"I know, Britt, I'm just so much more aware of it now, you know? I don't want you to think I'm just trying to paw you and assert my claim or anything like that. I used to do that with Puck and Sam and... it's DIFFERENT with you, you know that. You deserve to be treated like a lady, with respect."

"Santana you DO treat me like a lady and with respect. And other times, you treat me like a lot of other things that I like, too. But honey, I love when you hold on to me. Assert your claim all you want, because I plan on doing the same thing. You're not the only one who worries about not being good enough or deserving or whatever dumb reason you're working on this week for why you think I'm going to leave you."

"I don't thin-"

"Seriously? You don't think I went and made Finn tell me every ridiculous thing he said to you in that hallway? Santana I love you. I love you so much that I got an F on the first essay we were assigned in English after the first time you kissed me. I did nothing but write about how I'd found the girl I was going to marry and we were going to have six kids and they'd be named... what?"

"You wrote about me and you in a school paper? And wait, the first time I kissed you we were like, eleven. You planned our wedding when we were ELEVEN? Jesus, Britt."

"I didn't say your name no. I didn't even describe you, which is probably part of why I got that F because I kept writing out these long descriptions about your hair or your eyes and then erasing them because I wanted to keep it secret just for me who my dream girl was. What if Mr. Fortuna fell in love with you too? Hey, no laughing, I was a kid!"

"It's a good laugh, B. That was awesome. And I love you too."

"Duh, of course you do. It's why I'm going to marry you someday. And then I get my six kids."

"Yeah, about that, Britt..."
