Lily was working on her final potion. She pushed her red hair out of her face, she was honestly trying to impress Slughorn. Though according to her boyfriend James, she hardly needed to.
"He loooves you, Lil" he always told her. James came up behind her and hugged her, right as she was adding in ground-up unicorn horn. Lily smiled to herself and leaned back into his body without really realizing she was doing it. All the while, she continued working on the potion although her mind had started to wander. Every so often James would help her out by handing her ingredients or helping her cut things up. Lily smiled and when the potion was finally finished and left to simmer, she tipped her head back to look at him. "Hi there."
He kissed her forehead. "Want to go for a walk?" he asked
She nodded, beaming at him. "Sounds lovely. Around the lake and back?" She asked, blushing slightly from the kiss. He grabbed her hand and led her out, books forgotten. She swung their arms back and forth, humming to herself. James had no idea how he got so lucky, dating the prettiest girl. Lily smiled over at him as they stopped under the tree where they'd shared their first kiss. He leaned in and kissed her again. When they finished kissing, she realized he had put a necklace on her. "Happy four months" he smiled.
She touched the small charm, smiling at him as her cheeks turned pink. "Thank you. You didn't have too though..." She whispered, pecking his lips. "Happy four months."
