FLASHBACK
I went to my favorite tree. No one knew about it...it was unique, black bark and silvery-white leaves. I had stumbled upon it when I was looking in the Black Lake for some water plants. I always went there the think. It was there that I saw Luna sitting there, looking dreamily at the sky.
"Hello Neville...lovely day isn't it?" Luna asked without looking back.
I was shocked, "How did you know it was me?"
She shrugged, "Just a feeling..."
"Ah...mind if I...ahem...sit down?"
"'Course...I don't mind..." she made room for me to sit. We sat there in silence. I looked at her and saw that she was still staring at the sky.
I decided to break the silence, "So...how are you?"
"Me? I'm alright...Nargles keep stealing my stuff though...get's a bit troublesome..."
"Ah...I see...why are you outside?" I asked looking at her face, startled to see tears in her eyes. "I...Why are you crying? I-Is it the Nargles?"
She smiled and touched her cheek, "No...I didn't even notice I was crying...today was suppose to be my mother's birthday..."
"Oh...Oh Luna..." I moved closer to her and placed a hand on her shoulder.
She looks at me and breaks down, she sobbed into my chest as I patted her head. When she calmed down I looked into her eyes, "I'm here for you Luna...I'm here..."
"Thank you Neville..." she smiled kissing my cheek. I felt heat rush up my cheeks. "I need to go...thank you for everything Neville..." she left, I touched the cheek she kissed and smiled.
END FLASHBACK
Ever since then I had been in love with her... I'm crazy about her. Her long, curly, white-blonde hair, blue sparkling eyes, and...well...her...
We're in the middle of a huge war right now and if I don't get to her now I might not be able to tell her how much she means to me...how much I love her.
"Have any of you seen Luna?" I asked Harry and Ginny.
"Luna? No why?" Harry asked.
"I'm mad about her...better tell her now...or else I might not have a chance to after the war..." I ran off, looking for her.
I spotted her in front of the Ravenclaw dorm.
"Luna!" I called out to her. She turned and her eyes lit up.
"Neville! I..." I kissed her before she could say anything.
"Luna...I...I love you! And if we make it out alive I want you to be my girlfriend..." I said.
Luna stares at me...then smiles, "Yes...but first...can you kiss me again?"
I grinned and placed my lips on hers again. We stood there in each other's arms, never letting the other go.
