BROKEN FREQUENCIES

E/O Challenge WOW: idioms.

A/N: In The Heat of the Moment: To be overwhelmed by what is happening in the moment.

Once Broward County is a day and a half away, Sam finally sleeps which makes Dean sigh in response.

Since leaving Wednesday morning, Sam had been… twitchy, paranoid, and even… intimidating, which is definitely not his brother. So when Sam finally sleeps, Dean starts to relax. Turning on the radio, Dean flips through the frequencies looking for something good.

"-the heat of the moment."

"Gah!" In a blur, Sam is up and killing the radio, leaving Dean sitting in startled shock. Looking over, Sam then cringes. "Sorry. Just…don't like that song."

Dean's response is raised eyebrows. "Gee. I couldn't tell."
