"Hey Buddy," Jade said stroking her little boy's hair.
He sniffled.
"Com'ere," she said gathering him in her arms, "I know that you had a rough day today"
She wiped his tears away.
"I sorry I messed up your day," Noah said with a sniffle
"You didn't. Sweetie mommy and daddy are really busy sometimes and we have a lot of important things to do. But let me tell you something okay. NOBODY and NOTHING is more important to me and daddy then you are. You're our little guy"
The phone rang. It was Beck.
"Hello?"
"Hey Jade. Can you put Noah on?"
"Sure," Jade said, "Honey daddy wants to talk to you"
Noah picked up the phone.
"Hi daddy," he said.
"Hey listen kiddo," Beck said, "I miss you a lot. I'm coming back next weekend. I know you're having a rough day and so was I today. Something went wrong on the set and we had to keep doing the take over and over again."
"UGH SOUNDS LIKE HOMEWORK," Noah said causing Beck to laugh
"Kind of. But anyway I shouldn't have gotten upset with you. I should have realized what you were going through. You're just a little guy but you act so grown up I sometimes forget you're little."
"That's okay daddy," Noah said, "You love me again"
"Hey," Beck said firmly, "I never stopped and I never will stop"
