Our story begins with a moody teenager, an old damp castle and a hall full of students.
This teenager, a young man answering to the name of Harry, was at this time sitting in said hall of
said castle. Surrounding him were many noisy teenagers and children. Harry was now pushing his
food around on his plate, trying to make it look as though he were eating. Across from him, his two
best friends, Hermione and Ron, kept glancing at him with worry evident in their eyes. Harry had
been moody and closed-mouthed ever since the beginning of the school year almost two months
ago. To tell the truth, all three were quite nervous, for tonight was Haloween, and they sat tense in
their chairs wiating for this year's event to begin. Just as all three had done this though, the magnificent
iron doors to the Great Hall opened and a whirlwind entered. Or so it seemed to the students, all of
whom sat frozen in their chairs. In the back of Hall, the Headmaster stood up and addressed the
phenomenon.
"Sandoro, stop these theatrics and tell me why you have come." Suddenly, the whirlswind
died down and in its place stood a man who seemed familiar, but was a stranger nevertheless.
"Albus." The man, who was called Sondoro, said. His voice seemed to match his looks
perfectly. He had long platinum blonde hair, quite like that of the Malfoys. His eyes, however,
were an emerald green of such magnificense that all were in awe.
"I have come for my son."
All the teachers were confused and astounded, the students excited and curious.
For Harry, though, everything suddenly made sense.
"Sandoro, I was not aware that vampires were capable of fathering children." Gasps were
heard quite clearly throughout their audience, no one could believe it. A vampire, here in
Hogwarts!"
"I am not a father, I have sired an heir, and will now introduce him to our world, seeing as his
disquise is about to fall apart at any moment."
"How is that possible?" Dumbledore asked, confused. It was the first time anyone in that
room had seen Dumbledore at a loss.
"Simple." The vampire replied blythly. "I turned his mother while he was in the womb." All
the teachers gasped as well as a few of the pureblooded families. There was no denying a
vampire his childe.
"Who is it that you declare as your heir?" Dumbldore asked. The hall remained silent for a
few moments. Not a word was spoken until a familiar youth stood and announced: "I am."
The gasps were louder this time as everyone turned to where the dark-haired youth stood,
watching the man who claimed to be his sire. Slowly he began to walk towards the front of the hall
where Sandoro stood.
"My childe" The vampire said while placing a hand on top of his head. "Let all know you as
you truly are." Harry smiled as a flash of energy surrounded him bringing changes so that there
quickly stood a stranger before the Hogwart's population.
The stranger's hair was long, to his waist, and so blond it blinded those whose eyes were
accustomed to the dark. He was tall, much taller than his sire, and lanky. His body was toned and
muscular while his facial features were long and finely chiseled.
Without verbal communication, the two turned and walked out of the hall before any could recover from their stunned stupors.
