So. This is an extremely general fic, so all of you will be satisfied.
You can replace Girl with any girl, from anywhere, even yourself.
And you can replace Guy with any guy, from anywhere, even yourself.
I hope you like the fic, I've never done something this general before.
Hogsmeade belongs to our Queen Rowling.
Have fun.
Snow crunched between the wandering couple's feet as they walked the solitary street that was Hogsmeade. They slowly passed all the shops that were closing up for the night, and for the rest of the year. It was quite the silent night, as opposed to other New Years where the street had been lit up with parties. Not a person or sound in sight or mind, other than the two that were making their way through the light snow in the middle of the solitary road.
"Were are we going?" the girl asked, breaking the comfortable silence.
"You'll see." her partner said, grabbing hold of her freezing hand and leading her to the end of the street. A chilly wind swept across the empty street, nipping their noses with it's cold breath.
"Why does it have to be so cold?" she mumbled into the scarf that was supposed to be covering her face from the cold.
"Well, little girl. You see, there's something called Winter-" the man said before getting jabbed in the ribs by his girlfriend's elbow. He yelped in pain while she attempted to make an innocent look.
"What's the matter little boy? Having some troubles?" she asked, batting her eyelashes. He just grunted and walked on.
Reaching the end of the street, he went around behind the shop in front of him and stared at the sky. Moments later, the sky was lit up with beautiful explosions of all the colours of the rainbow. She gasped, and brought a hand up to her mouth.
"Did you do this for me?" she said aloud, not really searching for the answer. He nodded.
Leaning down on one knee, he reached into his pocket and brought out a velvet box just as the words "Will you marry me?" graced the sky and fizzed out. She turned down to him, shock written over her face. "So?" he asked, opening the box to reveal a simple silver ring with an emerald set upon it. All she could do was nod vigorously as she knelt down to engulf her now fiancée in a tearful hug.
"Yes!" she finally gasped through her tears, "yes I will!"
I honestly don't know where this came from, it just kind of appeared and I had to write it.
Inspired by the song Our December by Thriving Ivory, by the way.
So yeah, I know it's horrible, but review anyway!
