"what do you want Lisa?" Bart asked. the 16 year old was laying in his bed, just staring at the ceiling. beside him, a 14 year old Lisa sat in a chair. she had a notebook and pen with her. see, she loved psychology books and wanted to test her theories. but the only person who she could find was bart. bart wore blue pants and a red shirt while Lisa wore a jean skirt and a red shirt. she also had a pearl necklace. over the years, Bart gained muscles. not large ones, but you could still see them sometimes even if he was wearing a shirt.

"i told you already, i need to know the mind of a boy." Bart's eyes turned to her, but his head stayed still. his eyes were intense. even Lisa couldn't stare into his eyes longer than 5 seconds without loosing her confidence to stay there. so Lisa avoided his eyes. after a few seconds Bart sighed.

"fine. what do you want to know?" Bart asked, closing his eyes, but listened to his sister. Lisa looked back up and nodded.

"question one: have you ever truly felt loenely?" Lisa asked. Bart's eyes widened and he hesitated for a moment.

"yes. but everyone feels truly lonely at times" Bart said. lisa looked at him surprised. now that she thought of it, he was right. even she felt lonely at times.

"o.k...why have you felt lonely before?" lisa asked. bart turned his gaze back towards her. but this time, it wasn't very tense. no, it looked sad and angry. bart closed his eyes again and sighed.

"everyone always calls you perfect. even if i truly try, i can never be as good as you are. the darkness holds me while the light holds you. we are complete opposites of each other. the teachers always call me a retard, while they call you a genius. so one time, i thought i had nothing to live for. but then i realized that i do, in a way, help people. that i some how make them feel excitement from time to time. so that's why i still fight" bart said. lisa was so shocked by the answer her brother gave that she dropped her pen. for a moment, she was still, not believing what she heard. but then realization sat on her. she always heard people say things of how perfect she was while they said how horrible bart was. bart had it harder than she ever had. yet, he always seems so happy and collected that it irritates her beyond belief. lisa slowly bend down and grabbed her pen before bending back up and looking at Bart's calm face.

"bart...you said that you help people in a way...what way do you help them?" lisa asked slowly. she was staring at bart's face which was still calm and collected. he turned his head towards her.

"as you know, everyone needs the same things. people need food and water, situations to make them for who they are, but most of all, they need excitement, to know hwo to deal with something new and strange. my pranks help them feel fine when seeing things are adventurous and weird. so that's why i prank people" lisa stared wide eyed at her brother. that...actually sounded logical. for the first time in her life, lisa finally saw what bart did for the town.
