He felt the connection...as he had before, penetrating his mind and soul, until he was completely fused with the other. The power that was filling him nearly overflowed, testing his limits until he felt he would surely break.
Determined to keep living, keep filtering this raw force through him, Vegeta opened his eyes to the shared vision of fusion: Goku's wonderment nearly contagious, Vegeta's own thrill passing along to his ally.
The very ground trembled with the tenacious hold Gogeta had on the potency flowing through his veins. Vegeta smiled and felt Goku return the sentiment, then their fusion was complete. What one felt, was the other's emotion: their reflexes shared, everything was one.
Gogeta shuddered and summoned yet more of the might as his command. A scream was ripped from his throat as the pain shivered over him again and again, yet the need to keep pulling was too great to disobey.
Full of the weight of sheer force and energy, Gogeta quivered with the pleasure the pain produced in him. This was right. This was conclusion. This was the closest they would ever be to each other: inside, outside, perfect.
Secret.
Gogeta smiled. "Try." Two voices merged. He opened his eyes. Glimmering orbs saw through everything. "Try to defeat me."
