# Here Comes The Rain #
Staring out my window
Thinking about him
The clouds begin to darken
And the day begins to dim
As raindrops start to fall
And splatter on the glass
I turn my thoughts to him and me
Together in the past
Teasing and name-calling
Piercing words that stung
We couldn't stand each other
Until our hatred turned to love
He was raised true Slytherin
Green and silver in his veins
And I was a brave Gryffindor
Proud to show my mane
People said it was impossible
They said it wouldn't work
But I couldn't help but fall in love
With that boy and his infamous smirk
We continued up to 7th year
On the night he got that letter
His father saying it was time
And Draco thought it for the better
He left me standing all alone
With a few last heartfelt words
"I love you Hermione Granger,
Like I said I always would"
He gave me a final kiss
And apparated far away
While I stood in tears
Unsure of what to say
I thought I'd never see him again
I thought this time was the last
But unfortunately I was wrong
For a main part he was cast
When the wizarding world was at war
We fought on opposite sides
But that did not stop him
From crossing that fine line
I screamed and yelled in sorrow
As he fell before my feet
I held his hand and sobbed
For he gave his life for me
I know now that he didn't lie
When he said he'd always love me
It's just so painful that he's gone
Imagine what we could be
It rained that day also
Come to think of it
It's like the world was mourning
It seemed appropriate
I'm pulled from my memories
By a few sun rays pouring in
They wrap around my shoulders
Like a comforting gesture from a friend
The clouds part to reveal the sun
In the middle of a brilliant blue sky
It's like a ray of hope
In my darkest times
I know no matter how bad the storm is
The sun will shine again
It's like me and Draco
We'll be together in the end
