"It's just so – illogical," Hermione said.
"You say that about everything, Hermione," Ron says, exasperated. But his eyes are wide too, not with disbelief, but with that special shock reserved for new fathers.
"Things like this just don't happen in the muggle world, Ron," says Harry pointedly. Hermione smiles gently and cradles the two babies, who coo.
"Twins?" said Ron, confused. Harry and Hermione both laughed.
"Not exactly. More like, two different fathers."
"Oh."
Hermione giggled, looking down at baby-wide green eyes, and the other's shock of red hair. "At least we know who got who's genes."
"Jeans?" asks Harry.
