Apollo Says Farewell

This may not be typical of me
But you still love me as you can see
I'm here to say farewell
Because Zeus' about to yell.

I'd like to say goodbye
No, it's not an alibi
This is the last you'll see of me, Fred's gone too
And our heroes too, became blue.

Goodbye to all
I'm not trying to stall
I want this last memory always recalled
Even when you've turned bald.
/
I will miss everyone
The battle's over and won
Everyone's too tired now
They could barely even bow.
/
Goodbye for now
May the great sacrifices be honored through a vow
For our journey's over and done
As it lasted, we've had lots of fun.
/
Farewell, my dear friends
All those with us through thick, thin, curves, and bends
We'll see you again soon enough
Maybe within Zeus' clouds of fluff.
