She was Slytherin; he was Hufflepuff. She ruled the pure bloods, while he was considered a disgrace to all Wizarding kind. She was haughty and proud; he was sensible and humble. Yet these two fell in love against all odds, but as they say, everything comes with a price.

For her, defying her family's ancient values and morals caused her to blasted off the sacred family tree. Her name was tarnished forever in the noble House of Black. She was rather pleased when her younger brother, Sirius, followed in her footsteps and was too banished from the Blacks. Her reputation, along with her brother's, was soiled with scorn and disregard.

However, she couldn't have cared less. Her family's views were rubbish; not all Muggleborns were filth. They were just as equally capable of magic, nor were their powers pilfered from magical peoples.

She had her life planned out for her. She would wed a respectable pureblood and be a housewife. That was the customary tradition.

He grew up a dreamer. He read fairytales that implanted visions of happy endings into his mind, blissfully unaware of the world enshrouded from his eyes.
