Wolf Slayer
Chapter one
-FLASHBACK-
The sun was shining and the birds were singing, this was always a good sign for the village of Pandoricillia. A young girl was strolling through the forest with her mentor the spirit keeper. It was peaceful until they heard a loud BANG! The two instantly ran to the village to be greeted with the fire dragon Igneel burning the place down. "Mother, Father" The young girl shouted in a panicked voice, she looked around to see the elder of the village with the young earth wolf, they were trying to save the books of teachings. Before anything could be said she found herself running for her life with the earth wolf, she had a pile of books on her back "Run and find the Queen, don't look back" They where the words of the elder, the words where ringing in her ear. The girl travelled and grew into a strong spirit keeper and found her Queen. She travelled with the Queens personal pack, the spirit keeper can live as long as the oldest dragon but unlike most wolves once her mate dies so do they. She watched new Queens take control, until there was Layla. The girl and the earth wolf promised the Queen that they would teach Lucy when she came of age everything she needed to know because the council where once again turning their attention to the wolves and meant that no wolf was safe.
-PRESENT DAY-
100 years after the incident the wolf girl and her companion where strolling the streets of Mangolia looking for the princess. This caused a few people to stare and spread rumours, "I hear that seeing a wolf is a bad omen..." she heard people say. She chuckled at the thought of the big bad wolf coming to gobble them up; yes she had heard the bed time stories. Most of the locals however where not affected by her presence at all, they thought she was here to join Fairy Tail. Before the pair could react a young bubbly blond had run into them, the blond of course was Lucy Heartfillia, child of the Wolf Queen.
