So basically I have this headcanon where Jehan's the ami who's brilliant with computers but Combeferre's one of those people who doesn't really know where the on button is.

Jehan sighs with relief as he sits down to a meal of Aunt Bessie's cottage pie and waffles. It's been a long day – English lit exam at nine am before going to walk next door's St Bernard puppy, who loves Jehan so much it hurts (no, really, it's just discovering teeth) and maybe the dog drew a little blood. And of course Jehan just happened to bump into Joly today, who of course had to ask where the tooth marks came from and then make Jehan book a tetanus jab, which could be done today, because the stupid GP was free. Jehan hadn't had a jab since he was six, and he had his mother's hand to hold. Twelve years on, and Jehan had forgotten how much needles hurt. He felt like such a child, grasping the arms of the chair until his knuckles went white. The jab took about ten seconds, sure, but it still hurts. After the jab, Courf called and demanded they go and see the new Thor film in 3D, which, in fairness, Jehan had been wanting to see for ages, and he was too exhausted to argue with Courf. Now he's shattered. All he wants to do is eat and then hibernate for the rest of his life. But then his phone rings. Combeferre.

"Yeah?" Jehan groans.

"Jehan, I need your help," Combeferre says quickly. Jehan freezes, imagining Ferre tied to a chair with some guy holding a phone to his ear in one hand and a gun to his forehead in the other. "Something just came up on my computer." Jehan restrains from letting his face fall into his dinner in frustration. Combeferre just got a new laptop, and he hasn't got a clue.

"Ugh, I'll be right over." Jehan looks dejectedly at his dinner, before picking up a waffle to eat on the way.

"I am so glad you're here," Combeferre says as Jehan steps through the door.

"What's the problem?"

"Well, this thing popped up and it looked like a count down and I don't know what to do… could it be a bomb?" Jehan glances at the laptop and sighs.

This computer will shut down in 20 minutes for updates.

Jehan clicks the Remind me in: 4 hours button and hands it back to Combeferre.

"Done."

"Thanks, Jehan."

"No problem." Jehan walks out the door and drives home.

Four hours later, Jehan is asleep. His phone rings. Combeferre.

"What now?" he asks, still half asleep. "It's one in the morning, Ferre, this better be good."

"Jehan, it's back."
