Silly L
L was walking innocently down the road one day; idly wondering why people chose to waste their gum on the sidewalk; honestly! There had to be at least ten more chews left in that glooble. (A/N: I think I just made that word up) When he finally got to the zebra crossing opposite the sweet shop; the really good one that had ever kind of sweet treat imaginable within its hallowed halls, he stopped. As any responsible person should, he carefully prodded the little button just under the robots, and waited. The red lights came on, and L looked left, then right, then left again, just to check; even though there were no cars in sight. He had to be cautious, after all, Kira could be a taxi driver.
Suddenly, while L was glancing right again, just to be sure, white van pulled up in front of him. He was critically examining the dark, tinted windows when the one on the driver's side slid open. The driver was wearing sunglasses, even though it was overcast. There is a 0.000000001% chance this driver is blind, thought L. After looking around suspiciously he driver beckoned to the anaemic looking man.
' Hey,' The man said while holding out a packet of Haribo, 'You want these?' L shuffled forward, was this dude insane? Who gave away sweets?!
'you know, I have a ton more in here,' He indicated the back of the van, ' and am on my way to the world's largest candy store. I can give you a lift?' L couldn't believe this, things like this didn't happen every day. He accepted the offer eagerly, running around to the passenger door.
With this pale, spidery hand on the door handle he hesitated. Until the odd looking driver mentioned there was a 75% off sale at Candy World, just for today.
Matsuda, who had been sent to KFC to get lunch for everyone at HQ, walked around the corner just in time to see the sugar addict climb into the van before it accelerated away.
AN: I seem to be writing really short fics. Sorry.
Not sure if i should continue this, what do you think? If so how? Because I have no idea
*EDIT* Not continuing this, sorry to anyone who wanted me to. Unfortunatley I have no idea how to do it and I'm definatly not motivated enough to write a multi-chaptered fic.
