Kurt's phone buzzed across the shelf beside his bed. He grumbled as he pawed around to shut it up before it woke up Finn or his parents.

"Hello?" he answered, voice still thick with sleep.

"Oh good you're up"

"Of course I am. You woke me up. Is something wrong?"

"Nah"

"Okay, then why are you calling at this ungodly hour? The sun isn't even up"

"I'm bored and I wanted you to be bored with me"

Kurt smiled. How had he gotten so lucky in being able to date Blaine Anderson?

"But it's Sunday"

"Are you saying I'm not allowed to miss you on Sundays. Is it the Sabbath of Kurt missing?"

"No, you can miss me all the time. You miss me because you love me, but no, I like to sleep in on Sundays"

"Sorry for being a bother. Do me a favour though?"

"Sure"

"Go look out your window"

Kurt sighed, "Why? I have this vision of you standing on my lawn with a boombox over your head, and it's much too early for that. Speaking of which," Kurt glanced at his iPhone, "It's 6:15 in the morning"

"I can assure you I am here in my bedroom and nowhere in your general area. Are you at the window?"

Kurt pulled the covers off and tip toed over to the seat he had by the window. Beside it was the little table that held Pavarotti's empty cage.

"What now?"

"How's it being back at McKinley?"

"It's a challenge readjusting. But I'm glad to have my friends again."
"That's good though"
"Just sucks being away from you"
"Don't you worry about me. It was time, Kurt. I wasn't going to keep you any longer then I could"

"How are things at Dalton? What are the Warblers up to?"

"Wes has us in rigorous vocal training to prep for next year. We'll be graduating, and it would be nice to have a trophy"
"Anything in particular you're practicing?"

"Don't you be slyly sizing us up. We may be boyfriends, but we're still competitors"

"I was just making conversation"

"I'm kidding. We're working on Find Your Love by Drake for our yearend showcase actually. You should definitely come."
"For sure, I'd love to see all the guys again"

"They ask about you a lot. It sounds kind of crazy, but Kurt, you shook up the Warblers"

"Oh, wow. Thank you, I guess."

"We're still on for dinner Friday?"

"Yep. We can meet at the restaurant" Kurt leaned back in the chair, pulling his legs closer to his chest. He gazed out the window, the sun slowly creeping out on the horizon. The paper boy walked around the front yard, delivering the Lima Register. He had plans with Mercedes that afternoon, but desperately wanted to drive out to see Blaine. It had been nearly two weeks since they had last seen each other. His eyelids began to droop.

"You still there,Kurt?"

"Yes. But not for much longer I fear"

"Give me another minute, then I'll let you go back to bed"
"Okay. Wait, but why am I still looking out the window?"

"So we could watch the sunrise together. Go back to bed, call me when you wake up. Bye"

"Bye"

Authors Notes: I'm Minnie Lune and this is the first piece I've been brave enought to post here. Any comments, good or bad are greatly appreciated as I would love to grow as a writer. I have a growing list of Klaine plot bunnies and hope for them all to find a home one day. Thank you.
