Makina, chief of operation, had given them one order: find the Chorus Blocks to annihilate the Red Man's power.
The second group, consisting of Ganta, Senji and Yosuga were walking in the maze that was Deadman Wonderland. This prison, which had ruined their lives might end up their grave, as Makina had warned them. Ganta Igarashi had completely ignored this information. This fourteen year old had already gone through so much: his friends' deaths, his conviction, the crazy world that was Deadman Wonderland. No, he wouldn't die here, not in this kingdom of immorality, not in this kingdom where vice and madness were the rulers.
The guards themselves were proofs of all this: a scientist that fantasizes and dreams of being chopped into tiny pieces, and a crazy and megalomaniac director. Crazy, yes, like the Carnival Corpse. It was the most profitable to its prisoners in terms of money; it was the emblematic trial of Deadman Wonderland and also the sickest. The concept was simple, make two Deadmen fight against each other, only for the sick pleasure of the spectators.

If he did, he'd get rid of the original branch of sin, the biggest curse Earth would have ever known, but he'd also kill the one who allowed him to live inside this Wonderland, the one who gave him a new lease of life, the one who loves him for who he is.

He loves her, but he also hates her. He wants to save her, but he also wants to kill her. If the operation Mother Goose is successful, they would be able to annihilate Shiro's dark side.
"Ganta, hurry up! We don't have all day! " spat out Senji.
He started to run, wanting to catch up with everyone else but also to prove that all his doubts were gone from his mind. Yes, he'd snatch her away from this prison, from Toto, and from these machines. He'd snatch Shiro from this unpredictable prison and he'd keep his promise he made back then: get out and ride a Ferris wheel. Not here though, not in Deadman Wonderland, but in their very own, way better than this one.
