The Thing About Pods
"Oh nice going Danny!" Harry said angrily as he looked down at his younger cousin. "Sorry Harry" Danny Tracy shrugged his shoulders; basically the young boy was at a lost for words unsure of what to say. The pair were playing hide and seek and little Danny Tracy thought it was a great idea to hide in one of Virgil Tracy's pods. Harry however thought that wasn't such a great idea and how right he was. "Oh just wait until Uncle Virgil finds us we're in some serious trouble" Harry thought to himself. As braced himself and Danny within the pod that was being carried by thunderbird two to only god knows where.
Meanwhile back at Tracy Island it was a completely different story. A tornado looked like it had hit the place everyone including John looked everywhere but couldn't find neither either Harry or Danny."Oh Scott where could they be!?" Kayo sobbed into his chest Scott did his best to comfort his wife the best he could. After a few minutes Scott finally said "I don't know Kayo but where ever they are I hope that they're all right." Kayo said nothing but hoped that Scott was right the others had their fingers crossed.
Meanwhile Virgil landed thunderbird two into a rather large clearing. Completely unaware that he had two hitchhikers on board. Then he disengaged pod number two and assembled a snowmobile to begin his rescue mission. Inside pod number two Harry and Danny were dogging all the equipment as the snowmobile was being made. Harry still didn't say anything to Danny because he was still angry at him about the predicament they were currently in. The next thing both Danny and Harry heard or rather saw a shadow enter the pod; causing them both to freeze up and hold their breaths.
Virgil Tracy was a man on a mission to stop the Hood as rescue as many people as he could. But he was also a man with his suspicions. Case in point as soon as he walked into pod two he knew something was up; something just didn't feel right the hair on Virgil's neck stood up. That's when out of the corner of his eye Virgil saw two shadows trying to slip back into the shadow within the back of pod two. "Hey you come out of there right now! With your hands up and I am not joking around!" Virgil said. Seconds later two figures stepped out of the shadows and their identities shocked Virgil to his core.
"Danny!Harry! What are you doing here?" Virgil asked rushing up to the pair Virgil then put his hands on his hips; the rescue mission taking a temporary backseat. "Um?" was all Harry said Danny however was a little bit too enthusiastic and said "Hi Uncle Virgil fancy meeting you here!" Virgil Tracy looked at both boys and raised an eyebrow at both of them not believing them for a second. After some gentle probing Virgil got to the bottom of how both Harry and Danny ended up in pod two and half the world's away across the world. Virgil then dragged both Harry and Danny into thunderbird two and told them to stay put; until he finished and completed the rescue mission.
Before leaving on his rescue mission however Virgil made a quick call home; and told the rest of the clan that both Harry and Danny were safe and sound. Once everyone on Tracy Island heard that everyone blew out a big sigh of relief. But that didn't save them from the wrath of Kayo and Scott Tracy. There was a long conversation about how worried they were and were they hurt. As well as how disappointed they were in them Danny more so than Harry because Harry told Danny it was a bad idea in the first place. But of course Danny didn't listen and now looked what happened. Danny's punishment wasn't a bad one either but a bad one to him nonetheless like not having dessert for a month or more. Harry however got off scot free because he told Danny in the first place that this was a bad thing to be doing in the first place.
