I am Proud

I am proud to be their son.

There're taken from me but never really gone.

They were tortured but they stayed strong,

and I am proud to be their son.

The doctor said they'll never regain their sanity,

and they cannot be cured.

And I am proud to be their son.

I visit them every holiday,

but they never really see me.

I am proud I bring them gum,

and they save the wrappers for me.

But still I am proud to be their son.

They stood for their beliefs

so that others might live,

and I am proud to be their son.

They are my parents but they haven't

been able to be my parents in a long time.

And I am proud to be their son.

They paid a heavy price to save others.

They are owed a debt that can never be paid,

and I am proud to be their son.

Knowing it is a debt they wouldn't care about,

that they would never want to collect it,

and I am proud to be their son.

I hope to make the half as proud of me.

But i know if i die today,

I will die proud to be their son.

If I die I will die for the same cause

they gave their sanity for,

and I am proud to be their son.

i will fight and die for their honor.

Their sacrifices will not be in vain,

and I am proud to be their son.

I am the son of Frank and Alice Longbottom,

and today I will fight a war that started long ago.

And I am proud to be their son.

I am proud to take up that battle of good versus evil,

and will fight for them and the others lost.

Because I am proud to be their son,

and I am ready for everyone to know

that they were not the only parents who sacrificed everything.

And I am proud to be their son.

I own nothing, but the order in which the words were writen. I would like to that a friend who gave me the courage to write again. I hope you know how wonderful you are.
