The human mind sure is mysterious, one day we hate someone, the next day we love that very same person. What makes us humans act this way? Feelings for a person do after all not develop just after a second or two, but there could be one emotion that works this way, love.
Edgar Roni Figaro had just defeated a gigantic monster, three times his size. He felt his stamina wasn't on top at the moment, so he retreated to safety in form of the airship Falcon. He removed all of his equipment and took a walk to see if anyone else was nearby. There didn't seem to be one, at least until he entered the gambling room.
Two dices flew over the table, two sixes facing up. The gambler smiled, and noticed Edgar had arrived. "Why, welcome back," Setzer greeted. "It seems you where the first after me to return back from training." Setzer took up the dices, shook them in his hand, and threw them over the table, making a four and a two facing up.
"Yeah, I better did it," he said. "I believe I was at my limits." Setzer looked calm, as he took up a card deck and blending it. "What about you Setzer? Did you have problems training?" The other shook his head.
"Not really, I didn't need the training," he replied. "Besides, I don't want to leave Falcon alone." Setzer did a card trick before blending it again. "To pass the time, would you like to play a round of poker?" Setzer showed up a card, being the joker, he tossed it away. He held the card on top, signaling the question again.
"I guess it can't hurt," Edgar replied, and took up the card Setzer had passed to him, now with five cards in his hands. They were seven of spades, seven of hearts, seven of clover, five of spades and five of hearts. A house as first hand, not bad really.
Edgar looked up at Setzer, he had no expression whenever he had a good hand or not. Edgar played cool, but he really did want to shout out loud about his good hand. "What are we betting?" Edgar asked. "Money?"
Setzer shook his head. "Not really," he answered. "The price is what the winner desire." Interesting, Edgar could make Setzer cross dress. The king didn't know why, but the thought of having Setzer running around in a dress was always amusing. "You're ready to show your cards?"
Edgar was pulled from his imagination; Edgar laid his cards on the table. "House," he said. "Not that bad really to be honest." Setzer smiled at Edgar, not that 'I agree with you' look, but more the 'Wait until you see what I got' look. "Setzer, what are your cards?" He asked worried.
Setzer pushed his hair away from his face. "Looks like I won after all," he said and laid down his hand. "Royal Flush." Setzer stood up from his chair, walking up to Edgar. He leaned closer to his face. "And what I want is…" The gambler held the king's chin gently as he put his lips against his. "Just a kiss."
