Chapter 1. The Story Commences.
On Friday, my friends and I were going to the library. Alice( not the Alice from the show), with her short ginger hair, glasses and bright, green eyes and Arthur with his short, curly, black hair and thoughtful blue eyes and last but not least me, May. I have long brown hair, brown glasses and hazel eyes.
We loved going to the library because we all loved reading. We would spend hours at the library carefully perusing the many shelves filled with wonderful books. It was a typical Friday afternoon, there was no one besides us at the library which was kind of weird but we didn't think anything of it. It was peaceful and quiet.
Suddenly, the bookshelves started vibrating, my friends and I looked around wondering what was going on. The shaking became so violent that the bookshelf behind us started falling down on us. We all screamed and tried to jump out of the way. The bookshelf crashed to the floor behind us. Then another and another came crashing down around us.
I opened my eyes and looked around; the three of us had jumped all the way to the other side of the room. I thought to myself 'what in world just happened?!' By the confused looks on my friends' faces I knew they were thinking the same thing.
'How did we do that?' asked Arthur. 'I have no idea.' Replied Alice. Both looked at me and I shook my head. I was about to say that we should probably leave when the wall at our end of the library collapsed and through the dust came a girl with short pink hair , green/brown eyes holding an index card in her hand with 2 holsters on her legs. I couldn't believe my eyes. 'A….Anita King?!' I gasped in shock.
The 13 year old nodded and grinning at me said 'the one and only.' Arthur and Alice stared at me and Alice asked 'you know her?!' I nodded slowly and replied 'she is one of my favourite characters in an anime I'm watching.'
'Wow!' Gasped Arthur and Alice together. 'Anita.' I said 'What are you doing here?' 'We're here for you guys. So follow me come on before those guys with guns catch up with us.' We all ran after Anita as she made her way to the window shattered it with the dagger like paper in her hand and jumped out through it.
My friends hesitated so I grabbed them and jumped out the window pulling them after me. We landed on a giant paper bird. The creator of which was sitting up by its head controlling it, her short black hair ruffling in the wind. 'Maggie Mui!' I cried. She glanced back at me blushing slightly muttering 'Hi.'
Arthur and Alice who were sitting behind me were beaming unable to control their amazement at the fact that they were flying on a giant paper bird with a bunch of anime characters. I could hardly believe it either. 'Uh…May?' Arthur said nervously as a woman with long blonde hair who was sitting behind them said 'Hello dears.' Then she proceeded to give them both a big hug.
I chuckled at the sight of my two best friends blushing fiercely while being hugged by yet another familiar animated face. I said to them smiling 'don't worry, that's Michelle Cheung she's harmless….usually.' Then Michelle asked them 'Would you like to be our sisters?' and hugged them even tighter. I started laughing so hard I nearly fell off of the bird! 'Well, this is going to be interesting.' I thought to myself as we flew over the town, the countryside and across the sea.
