*BEEP BEEP WOOP WOOP*
"Whuzzat?" SPD Red Ranger, Jack Landers, asked himself as red lights flashed and an alarm rang out. He ran down to the rest of B squad to see 2 crabby walking out and 3 pissed off girls. Jack met up with them as 2 Zs became 1 and Syd brought the metal out of her hand at Sky's coaxing.
"Cadets." Cruggar's voice sounded from the speakers, "we're testing Kat's new fire alarm system. Please proceed to the fire exit nearest to you in an orderly fashion."
"I thought that was supposed to be during the day time in case someone falls. But if someone-" Z shut up her bumbling boyfriend with a kiss. They travelled in relative silence along with about 50 other cadets from various squads.
"By the way Sky, those pajamas look so manly" Z said trying, and failing, to hide her snickers with Jack and Bridge. Sky face palmed, realizing he was wearing the pajama pants with smilie faces all over them.
"I think they look…why now?!" Syd said as they arrived at the fire escape. "My hair's going to be ruined!" She tried fluffing up her roller filled hair as Z rolled her eyes at the blonde.
"It's just water Syd. It's not going to melt you…or rust you." Z and Jack shared small smirks while Syd glared at the brunette.
Bridge and Sky were laughing on the inside and before the blonde could open her mouth, Boom ran up to them. "Have any of you guys seen Kat? Or Doggie?" The cadets looked at each other, all wearing smug grins
"Cough up guys. I think I'm gonna buy lots of buttery toast with that." The current green ranger said as the red, blue, yellow and pink rangers gave over the 5 dollars each. "Thanks guys!" he said
"Can I get a hint as to why Bridge now has 20 dollars?" asked Boom.
"Later Boom." Jack said. "But right now I want to make sure Bridge doesn't keep my 5 dollars"
The B squad and Boom walked into Kat's lab to see Kat and Doggie trying to put out a fire that started in an overheated component. Boom was about to take a drink from a bottle of water he left behind when the green ranger grabbed the bottle and dumped it over the flames, quenching them. He then bolted out the other side of the lab. The other rangers noticed and ran after him
"I want my money back Bridge!" Distinctly from Z, was the last thing Kat, Doggie and Boom heard.
Kat laughed and leaned into Doggie. "Should we tell them Doggie?" She asked seriously
"When the bet pool runs out. We don't need anyone of our rangers to benefit from our honesty after all."
Boom silently slipped out of the room to go save Bridge from the imminent force of 4 angry rangers.
I made this after a fire alarm in the rain one day. The amount of girls worrying about thier shoes, hair and make up made me and a couple of my friends crack up! Enjoy!
