A/N: I made this in like, 10 minutes. . I hope it's okay.
"Look...at...me." he says. The face turns and obsidian meets emerald. Severus continues to stare into them, but they begin fading away. He closes his eyes and relaxes as he knows his time is almost gone.
He finds himself in an odd place. He looks around, seeing no-one and seeing nothing. He is surronded by pure white. He finds it strange. He wonders aloud, "Shouldn't I be in hell?"
He turns and jumps, frightened slightly. Lily Evans is standing there. "No, you shouldn't be. You've done many great things. You've protected Harry and spied for the Order. You've done well. Now it's time to go."
"Go? Go where?" he asks.
"Why, silly, home of course!" she turns away from him and points to a maple door that had suddenly appeared.
She begins walking toward the door, then stops and looks behind herself to say, "You should come with me."
He follows and they head through the door. Severus takes in the scene before him. There is a long corridor. Much like one at Hogwarts.
Lily grabs Severus' hand and begins walking, pulling him alongside her.
They soon arrive at another door. It's larger than the first one and they both go through at the same time.
Then, they're there. He sees Remus and Nymphadora laughing off to the side. He sees James and Sirius talking with Fred and Colin. He also sees Mad-Eye Moody, muttering to himself. Something about 'annoying little runts with cameras'.
But, the most important person he sees is Albus Dumbledore. Albus approaches Severus and Lily. "Severus, Lily," he says, nodding at each one in turn, "You've made it."
Severus nods, then looks at Lily. She smiles at him. "We're home."
And he smiles.
