Raichu

Ash knew the day would come. Pikachu was tired of being a pikachu. He longed to be a raichu. But Ash couldn't let that happen. One day, though pikachu found something.

They were walking in the forest and then, the thunderstone, it had appeared from nowhere. Pikachu started to glow, and began making strange noises. "Rai, Rai"

Ash stared in horror as his beloved pal was not anymore that cute little yellow mouse. A big raichu. Raichu smiled happily, as it ran around in circles, clapping it's paws, it's big ears twitching.

Ash ran off, far away into the forest, tears ran down his face. It didn't seem that big of a deal, pikachu evolved, so what? Ash didn't want a raichu. A pikachu was all he wanted.

Raichu stepped forward, it's thundering tail pounded on the ground. His eyes watered. He heard pokemon in the bushes, they were laughing. Laughing at him. He tried to fight the tears but broke down. His heart was broken. His best friend abandoned him. The pokemon trudged forward, into the trees and through the willow trees. The arms scratched it. He didn't care. He just didn't stop. He began to bleed.

He finally reached where he saw Ash laying on the ground. A heracross and pinsir were stood by him. Raichu could see scratches on Ash's face from the two pokemon. Not thinking, he charged and used volt tackle on both of the bugs. He fell back and onto the ground. His body hurt. He nervously used thunderbolt on the pokemon. They both fainted.

Ash's arms were full of bruises, but he was still strong. His eyes widened when he saw Raichu standing there above him, exhausted and ready to faint. He hugged him, "I'm so sorry, I really am. I'm moved on. It's okay. Now you're even stronger!"

Raichu smiled, but then sharply frowned as he saw a gigantic pokemon approach them. It was tyranitar. It roared. It's teeth shined.

Raichu finally let go of Ash. "Rai..., Raichu, Rai?"

Ash look confused "pokemon talk" he muttered.

"Tyranitarr, Tyran, Tyr!"

Raichu flared up. It glowed yellow. Thunder arose from it. Using all the energy in him, he charged up power.

"Raichu! No! You'll kill yourself!"

The attack was launched as Ash ran over to Raichu trying to hold it still.

The attack ran through both of them, and tyranitar. Ash tried to hold on to Raichu, as the attack kept going. Both of them twitched as the shockwaves blasted threw them. Ash couldn't take it, he let go. It lasted for about 20 more seconds, when tyranitar fainted. Raichu, fell on the ground, it's tail twitched, he didn't move. Neither did Ash. The two had both used all the energy they had. As you can tell, neither returned home that night.

Two days later they were buried together in a local cemetery. Everyone was there, ash's mom, Brock, Misty, May, Max, Dawn and even Gary.

Goodbyes were said, and tears were shed. They never knew what had happened with Raichu. Why wasn't he pikachu, and why did they die? Those questions remained unanswered. But they could tell Ash had suffered some serious electric shocks. Probably from Raichu, and Raichu had all it's energy gone, and had died in process. Of course, 3 of the girls cried most. As you probably know, each and everyone of them had fallen for him.

The pokemon, of course cried too, and everyone there.

Their memories will live on forever.

In the hearts of pokemon trainers everywhere.

And you know Ash's last words were "Goodbye Raichu."
