Prompt - Lotus X Orchid/Orca

Who's turn to write? - Feathers / Fyre

A/N) Say hello to a different kind of fluff that I never really experienced writing. Incest.

[Bunnies]

He never really understood her fascination with bunnies.

Maybe it was that when they were younger, they were kicked out of their house, and left to live in the nearby forest with a broken-down shed. They had fixed it up, and as time went by and the forest grew barren and rocky, they cast spells to lift rocks onto the shed. It held.

But before they had fixed up the shed (which took a lot of time, by the way), they collected materials alongside bunnies.

When she first saw them, she had squealed in disbelief and dropped her meagre collection of wood. In the forest, the trees were skinny, and it was hard to find one that wouldn't crack as soon as someone stepped on them. He had chastised her afterwards, of course, but he noticed she snuck out every day, during rest break.

He followed her, and he found her amongst bunnies in the shed loft (Who knew why the bunnies were in the shed in the first place). She looked up at him pleadingly. "Can we keep them? Please?"

"No. They're wildlife."

Although he had spoken in an act of finality, in a few years, he had grown up, and started taking a job.

The pay wasn't high, but he scrounged up what he had (The bunnies had disappeared) and left towards a nearby shop. He paid for a stuffed bunny and when he went back home, he handed it to his sister.

Her eyes lit up with joy, and he felt a rush of warmth at them. She hugged him tightly and raced off to who-knows-where(probably back to the bunnies, who knew where she hid them in the house).

A small bunny hopped by his foot, and he bent down to pick it up.

"Why don't you like bunnies?"

"Orchid, they're wildlife... and they bite."

"Bunnies don't bite-"

"Then they scratch."

Lotus leaned over the side of the chair.

"But they're cute."

"Only when they're with you," he said without thinking, staring into space.

"What?"

"Oh, um, nothing." He caught himself just in time, but Orchid glared at him.

"Tell the truth."

"I said, 'only when they're with you'." He turned red; he didn't usually show affection.

Orchid giggled.

"Big brother, you don't need bunnies to be cute."

"Oh shut up."

A/N) The first time he picked up the small bunny, he investigated it. Bunnies legit have claws. ;n;
