I wrote a short one-shot in class, it's my first one so don't be mean please! It's angsty and it's about Leo.

Read on:

A mask is something that takes years to perfect. Leo has worked on making his since he realized that humor was a good way to hide the pain. To make it so that his smile wouldn't look fake and his laugh wouldn't sound it. So that he doesn't break down or show any pain or hurt in front of other people.
But a mask isn't something you can keep on forever. Eventually it'll get worn out and cracks will appear. Finally, it'll fall off, and you'll have no mask and no way to hide your emotions. Then, people will see the truth, the real you, all the pain, the hurt, the loneliness that you've been hiding all your life.
When Leo finally reached that day and his friends saw his mask crumble and fall off, they didn't leave him, they were there to catch him and help him and to tell him it's OK to show your real emotions and that's it's not good to bottle everything up.
Now, Leo doesn't use his mask anymore, but it still sits in the corner. Just in case, just in case he needs it again, because it's gotten so familiar and he feels uncomfortable without it. Like people are judging him and talking behind his back. So he keeps it. Just in case.

R&R PLEASE!
