"You'll be in my heart always…always," a voice sang to the child in the crib. The women, who was singing was blurry due to her child falling asleep, but before darkness came to take the child away into the land of dreams she leaned down and kissed the child's forehead softly.

"Sweet dreams my little Dashie. I love you," she whispered to her daughter before she left the room and sleep took over Dash.

Rainbow Dash woke up with a start, she had been having dreams like this for a few days now and it was starting to annoy her because it was never clear and she had a feeling it had something to do about her birth parents but she knew they were dead, well that is what she thought anyway. However, it put her to ease and gave her some sort of comfort for some reason she couldn't understand.

She took a glance at her alarm clock and it read six am this was becoming normal for her to wake up early after all she had a little sister to take care of. The simple mention of Scootaloo or her friends for that matter would cheer her up. Scoots was so similar to herself not only because of personality or interest but for the fact she was an orphan too. Rainbow felt that Scootaloo would enjoy having an older sister so she wouldn't be so lonely any more. As a sister and role model towards Scoots meant she had a lot more responsibilities and less time to sleep-in for how ever long she wanted to. She lazily got ready and went downstairs to make breakfast for herself and Scootaloo.

From the top of her lungs she shouted, "Breakfast is ready lil' sis!" Dash heard a groan from upstairs and rolled her eyes. It was an hour before school and she wanted to walk to CHS with her friends and not be late. Again.

"Come on besides I thought you said you wanted to get some drum practise and planning your next adventure with your friends this morning!" as soon as she finished her sentence the young crusader was already at the table in her PJ's. Dash chuckled and thought This is gonna be a long day.
