I do not Avatar the Last Airbender or any of their characters.

Smellerbee looked at Longshot, a confused look on her face.

It had been three years since Aang stopped the 100 year war, leaving Smellerbee at the age of 16, and Longshot at the age of 18.

Longshot sighed and sat back against the tree trunk, a mistletoe plant in his hand. Longshot had had a crush on Smellerbee since he first saw her, and wished that he knew if she felt the same. Ever since Jet died, Smellerbee and him have grown closer than ever (of that were even possible.) Longshot knew deep in his heart that Smellerbee was the girl for him, but he was to shy to say anything.

Smellerbee still stared at Longshot, wondering what the plant was for. "Longshot," she said after a couple minutes of silence, "what is that for?"

(Nothing. I just fund it on the Forest floor, thought you'd might like to see it.) He said with his eyes.

Smellerbee smiled at him. "It sure looks cool. Almost like those mistletoe plants that whenever someone stands under it, they usually get..." Smellerbee trailed off. Her eyes went wide as she looked up a Longshot.

His eyes turned a light pink and he looked away, feeling embarrassed. He then felt Smellerbee's hand on his cheek as she turned him to face her again. She slowly pressed her soft lips on to his and gave him a chaste kiss.

She pulled away, leaving Longshot stunned. "Mistletoe rules," she said smiling.

Longshot smiled and held the mistletoe over her head again.

Smellerbee leaned over and gave him another kiss.

They stayed in that kiss for a longer time. Longshot soon dropped the mistletoe, letting the wind take it away.

Love is nothing to mess with. When it's real, it'll find a way.
