"Um, Gumball? I have something kind of big to tell you and uh…" Darwin clears his throat. "Promise you won't think I'm weird or anything?" He kicks the ground beneath him, the pavement being much more interesting than his friend. "Pft, please. I won't judge you buddy. What, do you have a crush on Sussie or something?" He snickers. "But like, if you did, whatever. I don't care who you crush on." Gumball shrugs. "Just as long as we're friends." He punches Darwin's arm playfully, to which Darwin replies to with a smile. "Dude! I would never crush on Sussie! I have nothing against her but, she's kind of" Darwin pauses. "Very annoying?" Gumball asks. "Yeah." Darwin becomes tense again. "But you were right about me having a crush on someone." Gumball stops and faces Darwin. "Dude! You have to tell me. Oh oh, is it Masami? Please don't say it's Masami." He pulls a disgusted face. "I know I said I wouldn't judge but ugh." Darwin shakes his head. "No way. After the day of me being her boyfriend, I never wanted to talk to her again." He says.

"Teri?"
"No."
"Hmm…Carmen?"
"No, she's with Alan. But yeah still no."
"Penny?" He asks with caution.
"Nah. She's cool but I wouldn't date her." Gumball sighs in relief.

"Anyway, it's not a sheit's a he." Darwin hides his face in embarrassment, peeking slightly to see his friend's reaction. "Oooh…That's why you were so scared to tell me. Psh, I don't care. Is it...Juke? You stood up for him a lot when that whole Grobblefest thing happened like 3 years ago." Darwin shakes his head again. "Actually it's…" He rubs his arm, his tan skin looking a lot lighter in the sun. A slight wind passes by, teasing his hair. Gumball looks at him with anticipation, signalling for him to go on. They stand there for a minute, the silence embracing them. Finally, Darwin speaks up.

"Actually dude…"

"It doesn't matter."
