I don't own JD, Cox, the Janitor, Sacred Heart or even
Debby!
Summary:
JD just wanted to do his part to save the planet...
A/N:
I had an amusing thought the other day, it turned into a plot bunny
and well... My first Scrubs fic.
JD would like to think of himself as a compassionate and caring man, manly but still caring (no one said that could be two different things, right?) and at the moment he couldn't help but be very concerned about the environment, he didn't want to go bathing and find the sea full of boiled fish. Although if he did, he could start a restaurant with pre-boiled fish! And since the ocean is full of salt, it'd be salted as well!
Anyway, as a young man concerned about this planet's future he decided to do his part to help. So he sold is beloved scooter and bought a horse...and a carriage. And what a beautiful carriage it was. It was similar to those that people in love could hire for a romantic turn round the town and he'd always wanted one since he was nine and saw one for the first time. Maybe he would let Turk and Carla take a turn in it, cuddling on the seat with JD steering the horse? Free of charge of course. Anyone else would have the girl to pay with a kiss. Mmm...kisses...
Still, he was now on the way to Sacred Heart
with his horse (Deborah, Debby for short) and he couldn't help but
thinking if this was how it would've been in the 19th century. He'd
sit there with a cravat, green jacket and top hat, seeing the rushed
street life of men in similar outfits as himself and women in corsets
and bustles weaving through horses and carriages on muddy streets. As
he would stop, a man would stand outside the entrée waiting to
take his horse to the stables. "Here you are, my good
man."
(Change of POV)
Dr Cox stood on Sacred Heart's parking lot, having just locked his car and about to walk towards the front doors when he saw Newbie driving a horse and carriage, stopping by the front doors and addressing the Janitor with a stuck up voice. Before Janitor could blow up, Cox had walked past Newbie, whistled and said "Newbie! Foot!" and before short he was stalking the halls with a fumbling JD behind him trying to figure out what just happened.
