I stared at him from across the dojo. He was punching a dummy while his shoulder length brown hair bounced off his perfect face. He looked over to me and my heart jumped as his brown eyes stared at me. Jack Brewer was the cutest guy in school and I'm not just saying that because I have the biggest crush on him. All the girls at Seaford High like Jack. I don't really mind the girls though. I am Kim Crawford. I am the captin of the cheerleading squad, second best karate student at the Bobby Wasabi Dojo, and the closest girl to Jack.
Jack stopped what he was doing and walked over to me. I quickly fixed my blonde hair and put it aside.
"Hey Kim." Jack said casualy.
"Hi Jack" I said smiling. "Nice dummy punching."
"Thanks"
Jerry overheard us and joined in the conversation. (Sigh) I liked talking to Jack alone.
"Thankfully he wasn't punching me this time, yo. Bro got skill ya know, and it hurts... a lot." Jerry complained
Jack and I both rolled our eyes. Beep Beep! Jack brought out his phone and read the text to himself. He had a disturbed look on his face. I wondered what it said?
"I need to go, I have buisness to attend." Jack said in an annoyed tone.
"What kind of buisness? Jerry said. I punched Jerry in the arm. "Owww! What was that for?"
"You know" I said motioning to Jack. "Its none of your beeswax about what Jack's text says.
Jack walked past us towards the door. "Well, I guess I'll be heading out now."
Jerry and I waved good bye leaving Jerry and me dazed about what was so urgent about Jack's text.
