I like to watch him. He's always so quiet, so shy. And he was always afraid to ask questions, even in class. Like if he did, he would be punished severely. Harry Potter has always been an unusual boy, in my eyes. But in a good way. He somehow managed to turn our teachers hair blue once and he isn't afraid to get Dudley and his gang in trouble. He is always so nice and polite if you managed to speak to him. It was things like these that helped me fall in love with him.

First of all, my name is Alice Gate but everyone just calls me Ali. Right now I am 13 years old and I am starting eighth grade when September comes. Now I know what you're thinking, how can a thirteen-year-old be in love right? Easy. I can tell that there's something special about Harry, and there's something about him that you can't help but love.

The first time and last time I talked to him he was very quiet and kept looking around in case someone might discover him talking to someone that didn't hate him. He actually told me to leave in case Dudley and his gang walked by and then started bullying me too. He always loves to care for others. I did end up leaving because my mother had spotted me talking to that strange Potter boy and took me home. I was forbidden to ever talk to him again.

I may not be able to talk to him, but that doesn't mean I can't look at him. I've watched him ever since that day and I couldn't help but fall in love with this skinny, be-spectacled boy. I would have became his friend so that he wasn't so lonely but wherever Harry was, Dudley's gang was, making sure no one does try to become his friend. I would have anyway, but I knew that the gang could make my life a living hell like they did Harry's.

When he disappeared to go to that mysterious boarding school, I didn't believe anyone when they said he went to St Brutus'. I know Harry can't go there because he isn't bad. I still see him wandering around every summer but I can never build up the courage to go talk to him.

There are a lot of good-looking guys in my year at my school, but I ignore all of them, waiting for the time when Summer comes. Just so I can see Harry again. Last Summer he wasn't here for very long. He disappeared and the Dursleys told everyone they sent him off to some summer camp. I'm certain that I'll see him at least once before school starts, because if I don't, then I don't know how I'll get through the year. Dudley seems to have given up on bullying Harry but that doesn't mean he won't bully anyone who is nice to Harry.

So I'm sitting here watching Harry unable to help him because I know that Dudley and his gang hate him. And no one likes to mess with Dudley's gang.

Hey guys! This is just a little idea that popped into my head. I don't know if I wrote it very well but I hope you like it! I mean, there's got to be a chance that someone would have had a crush on Harry when they were younger? Right? Maybe that's just me. Oh well. What can you do. First one-shot, and I'm not very good at romance so sorry if it sucks. If you're waiting for my PJ fic, I just posted up a new chapter so check that out! Anyway, cheerio!
