Serena felt empty inside.

As she sat in the train leaving New York, she thought back to last week and the events that brought her to this decision and the two important people in her life that helped her make her choice.

First there was Blair, her best friend. Because of what she did, Blair's diary was exposed on Gossip Girl. This led to a fight between them and it ended when Blair kicked her out of her house, saying that her life was better when Serena had left six years ago.

Serena could still remember how upset and angry she was. After leaving, she decided to get back at Blair by using the second person had helped with her decision: Dan, her ex-boyfriend, and Blair's current boyfriend.

Serena remembered how she manipulated Dan to think that Blair was going to choose Chuck over him. When Dan thought that it was over, she kissed him and they had sex, with Dan not knowing that she was recording it, planning to post the video on Gossip Girl to humiliate Blair. But when Dan found out, he was furious, even if Serena tried to convince him that they both wanted this.

After that, Serena had one last talk with Dan and said that she loved him, but Dan wanted nothing to do with her and told her that he never wanted to see her again. She sadly left.

Now, Serena was on a train out of New York, leaving behind the life she had for five years.

"No one would miss me," she thought. Serena pulled out the cocaine she purchased, making her remember her old self, a girl who had no care in the world and did nothing but party, even if it hurt.

"At least back then, my life wasn't as complicated and my heart didn't get broken everytime, "she said to herself. She then took the drug and laid back.

"No more worries, no more cares," Serena mumbled as started to feel woozy. She looked outside and saw that New York disappearing from her view.

Her vision soon became blurry as she started to close her eyes. "Goodbye forever," she whispered before she closed her eyes and all she could see was darkness.
