Hello folks! A long time it has been! Gosh, I can't even begin to tell you all that has happened these past few years. If you read my most recent story, don't fret! It was a joke! Both of my laptops are shot, so please, bare with me, alright? Anyways, here is a preview of what there is to come.
With the hood of her jacket draped over her face, the small, petite girl sat rested up against the brick wall of the library. She however, had no intentions or reading or picking up a book for that matter. No, she was waiting for her long time friend, Cake. The both of them often shared many crazy adventures together.
Her name was Fiona, she was outgoing, rude, playful, and awkward when it came to boys. No conversation ever came out how it was suppose to when she talked to males.
Entwining her fingers through her blonde locks, she used her foot to push herself off of the wall and into step. From there she heard what seemed to be a small crashing sound. Turning her head, she looked down the dark alleyway, swallowing back her fear. Often she played out to be very brave, but without her pal Cake around - she was as fearful as a small animal.
"Cake?" Came her shuttery voice as she took a step towards the alley, "That you?" The noise came again, although it was not nearly as loud as before.
Squinting her eyes, she balled her hands into fists and began shaking them wildly in the dark as she stepped further into it. "Cake, ya butt! Stop messing around!" And then her hand dropped as a figure far different than cake took form on the wall ahead of her.
There, hanging upside down from the roof was a male, no older than her. He was pale, eyes red, and hair ebony in color. He was wearing a red plaid shirt, and torn up baggy jeans. He wasn't far off from your regular grungy teenage boy, accept...the fearless, hungry look in his eyes.
"Hey." Came the males voice, as a smirk curled its' way onto the corner of his mouth. With his canine like teeth gleaming, the male reached out to touch the motionless girl's head.
"Ah!" Fionna shrieked, jumping back, further into the lit area of the nightlit town. "Who?! What?!"
"Calm down," The male chuckled, walking down the wall and stepping into place on the concrete floor. "if I was going to hurt you, I would have already." He folded his arms, and took a good look at her, red hues brightening in color as the light hit them.
"Easy for you to say, fang boy!" Fionna hissed, frantically scanning her eyes around the area for her cat-friend. Cake was still not there! Where could the little pest be when she needed her! "Don't you dare come closer!"
"Or what?" Another chuckle, and another step closer. "Dare I ask.." His voice was low-pitched, indicating that he was at least a few years older than Fionna, and he had most certainly hit puberty.
