So here's the sequel to Remembered. You don't need to have read that to understand this, but I would love it if you would.

"Remember to bring in your baby pictures, guys!" Mrs. Marshall called.

I sighed loudly. It was a dumb idea, but all the juniors and seniors had to submit baby pictures to put in the yearbook. They were going to put in a part in which they would give each picture a number, and you had to try and figure out who was who. It was pointless, a waste of time and effort.

"You got your picture yet?" Joanne asked me.

"No. I've never even seen one of my baby pictures. I don't know what my parents did with them."

"What are you going to do if you can't find one?"

"I don't know." I shrugged. "Maybe I'll cut out a picture of a blond-haired baby wearing pink from an old Macy's catalog and give them that."

Joanne laughed lightly. "I'm sure they'd notice."

"Yeah, but they wouldn't care enough to do anything about it," I replied.

"You have a point there," Joanne admitted.

"Who has a point?" Adam asked, ruffling my hair.

Adam Walters was my current crush. He had been my crush for the last two years. Unfortunately, he was destined to be my friend, and friend only. He was dating Rhonda Park, and everyone knows that no one dumps Rhonda Park.

"It's nothing," I told him. I didn't feel like getting into the whole discussion again.

"Alright, then." He paused for a moment. "So, Natalie, do you have your baby picture yet? I can't wait to see you and your brother in matching outfits. It will be so easy to identify you two!"

"Who said anything about matching outfits?" I retorted. "And honestly, I can't see what the huge deal is about baby pictures. It's just another tradition that the school has kept for an insanely long time. It's utterly pointless!"

"What's up her ass?" Adam whispered to Joanne.

"She's never seen any of her baby pictures. Her parents never let her."

"Why not? They're her pictures."

"I can hear you, you know! Just because you're whispering doesn't mean I don't know what you're saying!"

Adam took a step back, probably due to the glare that was gracing my features at that particular moment.

"I know, but I was hoping that maybe you would realize that I was trying to be tactful."

"Whatever," I said, sighing. I really didn't feel like dealing with this at the moment.

"Hey, sis!" Nathan said, clapping me on the back. "Why is she upset?" he asked Adam and Joanne.

"We asked her about baby pictures," Joanne answered sheepishly. "Adam didn't know she'd freak out, so he made a couple of jokes, and here we are."

My brother smiled in understanding. "Sis, I don't know why you make such a huge deal about this stuff. I mean, baby pictures are baby pictures. Why would you want to see your drooling face stuffed into a pink bonnet?"

"I do not drool!" I exclaimed, drawing curious looks from everyone around me. "Well it's true!" I shouted.

"Do too." Nathan grinned. "You must have forgotten. I'm your brother. I know this stuff."

"Shut up," I told him. I couldn't keep a smile from my face though. Whenever I was upset, Nathan was always there to cheer me up.

"So, the depressing emo moment is over then?" Adam laughed. When I nodded, he proceeded to tell me that he was being rhetorical. Well then.

"Leave me alone Adam."

"Aww, Nat, you know you love me."

"In your dreams!"

Review? Please? And I am going to update Just Once next, and then the next chapter for this should come a little bit after that.
