A/N: I finished watching Episode 30 once again and at the end Archie said to Achilles, "so that's the reason why." So I just thought maybe I should explore why he said that. So here's what I came up with.

That's the Reason Why

My mind is still reeling as I lay on my bed staring at the ceiling. I just got back from the Elysian Fields. I really met Achilles, my ancestor. At first I wasn't sure about meeting him, I mean he was the greatest warrior in the Trojan War. The whole day was a bit of a shocker. First we lose our memories then almost forgot who we were for good and Neil being the one to save us. Yeah, he's not letting that one go at all.

Sure that's all interesting and all but that's not the kicker. Atlanta asked me if I was going to ask Achilles about my fear of water. I didn't intend to, I mean he's a great warrior, he shouldn't be afraid of anything. What I didn't expect was he asked me about it.

When he found out I was immune to being sick, he chuckled. I mean, this is Achilles here. When the guy chuckles you know something is up. So he smiles and says, "Are you afraid of water?"

I immediately told him no and laughed nervously. He looked at me pointedly and I contracted my answer telling me yes. He asked me if I wanted to know why and I joked saying maybe I drowned as a baby. He smiled a rather warm smile and shook his head. He told me the reason why.

"When I was born, my mother Thetis, she took me to the river Styx. She dipped - no dipped is the wrong word – immersed me in the water, holding me only by the heel. It left me with one weak spot as you well know. I, myself, am not fond of water though I'm not afraid of it but that can be our little secret, hmm?" He said to me. I couldn't believe it, it all made sense now. I was afraid of water because of the fact Achilles was immersed in the river to make him invulnerable. I remember looking at him with realization on my face.

"So that's the reason why."
