"What do you mean he isn't coming?" Rose Weasley snarled at her younger cousin, Lily. It was her 17th birthday celebration at her Grandma Molly's and she was looking forward to everyone being there. "He has too!"

"He's come down with something Rose," Lily said with a roll of her eyes. "You know not everything is about you!"

"Aunt Amalie and Uncle Harry just left him home, alone?" Rose asked with a surprised expression.

"Of course not," Lily said shaking her head. "Scorpius is with him."

"Of course," Rose said with a roll of her eyes. "When are they even apart?"

Albus groaned and rolled onto his side, the pain in his head was almost unbearable. Why do I feel so horrid? He thought to himself with tears pricking his eyes. Stop being a baby, Albus.

Albus sat up only to lose his balance and fall back into his bed. Am I dying? He panicked looking around the room frantically for something that was out of place that could have struck him during the night. He sighed in relief when he found nothing but that still didn't calm his thoughts. Maybe I'm coming down with some non-treatable disease!

Stop being ridiculous, Albus he told himself as he drifted back to sleep.

"Albus!" Amalie shouted from the other side of Albus' door. "Are you ready yet, were going in five minutes!" After not getting an answer for a few minutes Amalie barged into her youngest sons room and saw that he was still asleep. "Al-" she started but noticed that he was shaking before she could shout his name. "Albus," she said gently going over to him and putting a hand on his forehead. "You're burning up!" She said worriedly. "Harry!"

"Yes?" Harry, who was getting dressed in the room across the hall asked.

"Can wizards get the flu?" She asked with a creased brow causing Harry to laugh.

"Not a normal flu," he answered. "We get a wizard flu. Why?"

"I think Albus is sick," she said with a frown. "He's burning up."

"Do that mean he don't have to go?" Lily, who was passing her brother's door asked with a frown. "That's no fair!"

"Lily," Harry warned. "You're going."

Lily sighed and crossed her arms. "Fine," she said with a huff. "But I'm not going to like it!"

"I'll stay home and watch him," Scorpius said as he came into the room from the bathroom he and Albus shared.

Lily opened her mouth to say something but was cut off by Scorpius. "Rose is your cousin, she doesn't hit on you constantly, you can't do magic without an adult wizard here, and Al is my boyfriend."

"You make a compelling argument," Lily said with a nod. "Fine, I'll go."

"What's going on?" A half asleep Albus asked with a confused expression. "Is it time to go?"

"You're not going anywhere love," Scorpius said softly. "You're sick, go back to sleep."

"Okay," Albus said with a yawn snuggling down under the blankets. "Are you going to take care of me?"

"Always," Scorpius said kissing him softly on the forehead. "I'll always be here."

"Sap," Lily said with a roll of her eyes making everyone (except for an already asleep Albus) burst out laughing.
