So because I just have these weird ideas... sorry everyone... not really *grins*
The Crawling Chaos
She realized all too late what Minato had done as everyone else began crying and crowding around him.
In front of them, the tower of demise once known as Tartarus was gone (for good? She doubted it), letting their school take it's rightful place back. As Yukari watched him smile somewhat tiredly at everyone - mostly Aigis who was the only one full on sobbing, making her wonder if the blonde also realized... - before looking over at her, probably wondering why the brunette was at the back of the group.
When their eyes met, all the archer could do was smile at him as even her own eyes started to fill up with tears.
After all, what girl wouldn't cry, seeing her practically dead boyfriend looking so relaxed and calm, like he fought a hard battle and finally found his peace. Oh, how she hoped that he did, for Yukari knew that 'peace' was still an unknown concept to them, even if the rest of SEES couldn't understand it.
As she watched him smile back at her, the grin somehow out of place on his steadily paler face, she could pretend.
Pretend that everything was alright and that she wasn't supposed to be mourning her boyfriend right now.

"Yukari-san!"
The brunette looked away from the him... it... whatever it was, at the sound of Aigis' voice piercing the silence. Steadily ignoring the looks her two senpai were giving her in their worry, she met the blonde's blue eyes as the android smiled gently.
"You can deal the final blow..."
Nodding at Aigis' subtle command, Yukari pointed her arrows at the thing that dared to soil his image in her memories. But she knew all too well what it was - there was no other explanation, after all - as memories from over a decade ago started to attack her exhausted mind. Her cousin's friend Lisa getting mortally wounded trying to protect her, her battle against the being which had taken on her cousin's form and last, but certainly not least, her cousin's brave sacrifice for a peaceful world for her and the others to live in.
What a joke that was. There was nothing peaceful about Yukari's life ever since his disappearence all those years ago, not with her father's death and her mother's need to cope with the pain by sleeping around with all the men she could find. Not with her boyfriend sacrificing himself for that thing's pleasure and growing power. Her hand shook a little as she took aim, the near feral grin on it's face almost taunting her. But she made the shot before it could say anything, finishing whatever it was off as the other three cheered and it turned into black goo, like some Shadows used to after being defeated.
Yukari held no doubts that she was the only one who heard the whispered words that only confirmed her suspicions and fears.
"You've killed me."
AN: So heavy AU but thanks for enjoying it! Stay tuned! :)
