AN - This is a poem from Harry's point of view set around the start of Order of the Phoenix, it is from him to dudley. Hope you enjoy it though it will probably sounded better when i read it because of me knowing the rhythms that make it sound best. Hope it sounds ok anyhow :)
You've Never Seen My Nightmares -
You may laugh at me now,
But you've never been in my head;
Seen my nightmares,
That haught me in bed.
They're normally of him,
But sometimes they're her,
Her pleas and cries,
Ocassionally occur.
He took her from me,
Like he has done so many;
My parents are gone,
Don't recall you losing any.
And you may laugh at me now,
But you've never been in my head;
Seen my nightmares,
That fill me with dread.
I know he's coming,
I've seen him return;
He can touch me now,
He can make my scar burn.
He is gathering his troops;
Growing stronger everyday,
While I'm stuck right here,
Being put out the way.
So you may laugh at me now,
But you've never been in my head;
Seen my nightmares,
The ones of Diggory dead.
I took him with me,
To that terrible place;
Not knowing the consequences
If we both won the race.
I thought it would be fine,
But it didnt end like that.
I was forced to watch
As he was killed by the rat.
Still you may laugh at me now,
But you've never been in my head;
Seen my nightmares,
Of how Sirius fled.
How I once had hope,
Of moving from here,
But the rat crushed that dream
As foreseen by the seer.
My head is plagued,
With darkness and death,
And the thought that soon,
I could take my last breath.
Yet you still laugh at me now,
But you've never been in my head.
Perhaps you would know better,
If it were you instead.
Could you go on;
Would you even survive?
As I've faced such evil,
And I'm still alive.
But you probably wouldn't,
As you're weaker Big D.
You have no right,
To laugh and judge me.
See you don't laugh at me now,
Now you've seen in my head;
Seen I have reasons,
For those tears that I shed.
AN - Ok so hope you liked it, this started out about luna but it turned quite quickly i must say into a poem about harry and dudley, if anyone has any well know harry potter characters they want a poem writting about PM me and i will see what i can come up with. ( no really small character please though as I want a suficiant amount to write about them, let me know if you want it to rhyme as i know some people only like rhyming poems) I would be most thankful if you were to review it :) x
