A/N: This is Amanda and Charlie's origin story, I guess.
There was the Normal, there were films, there were books, there were TV shows. And then there was the Tv twins. Being brought to each show when the characters had a problem, moving to the next when it was solved. No control over where they went. Rarely any breaks.
Laughter filled the small townhouse as the twins chased each other around. They were now officially teenagers and were still "Acting like three year olds" as their mother put it.
Running away from her brother, Mandy glanced through her father's study's door and saw her mother pacing up and down the room with her father sitting on the old, saggy couch. For someone who should be celebrating her adopted children's birthday she didn't look too happy. Waving over her brother, she crouched by the door, ears open, trying to work out what had got their mother in such a strange mood.
"TODAY! John, their thirteenth birthday is today." John, the twin's father, rose frome the couch and took his wife's hands in his own,
"Lauren, calm down, for all you know it could skip them." Charlie frowned,
"Does she mean us? What might..." Their mother had started talking again and Mandy slapped a hand over his mouth.
"Skip them? Yeah. Like that's ever going to happen. It didn't skip Jenny and Jasmine, or Paul and Holly. Did it?" John just shook his head,
"Larrie, if it isn't going to skip them, do you not think we should spend the rest of the day with them? Rather than worring over something we can't change?" There mother, after a moments pause nodded, turning towards the door
"You find them, I'll find the presents!"
