The Other Traveler

Descending into an unrealistic parallel of the earth I knew I wasn't it my home anymore. Just as I touched the final page of that very book with the strange writing and pictures I descended upon the great heavens of space and time. I looked at my hand for it was there but I kept falling and falling that very instant. I lowered my head to the page of the book. It started to disappear, the book, the very link between my home and this strange place. I wept in horror as I saw the pages crumble beneath. Loosing all hope I will see my house again, the house I had spent the whole year designing and creating, my pride and joy will be gone as I travel deeper into the utter parallel source of unknown matter. Perhaps this is a mystery to me, the traveler who never traveled.

Suddenly a great flash from the heavens awoke me from the strange dream that occurred to me during the night. This place was not my home rather, it was more of a strange cave. A lantern was lit on the right side of the wall and gave the cave a light green glowing fluorescent glow. I swallowed something, maybe it was just saliva but it didn't taste like that. Maybe it was the coffee I had choked on during the occurrence. It left me with a strange feeling. A feeling of warmth, it must've been the coffee I had been drinking for the pot was only 10 minutes off.

I looked up at the ceiling of the cave, it had water stains and such on it. It's edges were sharp and craftsmanship on making the cave was astronomical. If there was craftsmanship than it would mean that there were people located somewhere. Maybe in the cave, maybe outside of the cave. I turned my head to the right and I saw the one thing I've seen before. There was writing on the wall, the wall's writing was the same as I had seen in the book. None of it made sense but a symbol was below it.
