The two Cassetticons twins snooped around the base, avoiding all other Decepticons so they could get their objective done, making sure to be as quiet as possible as well, for they after all, didn't want Soundwave to hear them coming as well. And of course they wanted it to be a surprise to him as well. The two quietly tip-toed into Soundwave's work office where he had been continuously been the entire day working on ways to back up Megatron during missions against the Autobots or against humankind, along with the constant math with ways of how to divide the limit short stock of energon among the crew, making it last as long as possible. As they entered the room, Frenzy silently kicked the door closed behind them. They both stopped at the end of the short hall entrance of the room and Rumbled peered around the corner, making sure it was only Soundwave and them in the room. The larger Transformer was crouched over his desk and it was impossible to tell what he was doing from their angle.
"Hurry up, its heavy!" Frenzy complained quietly and the purple twin shot him a bit of a glare, holding up his index finger right in front of his brother's face, indicating that his twin should be quiet and the red-black cassette gave him a sort of sour look.
"Shhh!" Rumbled hissed and Frenzy rolled his optics though it couldn't be seen from behind his visor but he did comply with his twin's wishes. Rumble took a step forward, quickly glanced around the room and beckoned his brother to follow him over to the side of the desk. Moving over to the desk the two just assumed Soundwave had noticed them or he was too busy paying more attention to whatever he was working on to notice them. However seeing that they both hadn't noticed what he was going either in the first place, it really didn't seem to matter at the moment. Pointing to the top of the desk, Frenzy stood on the tips of his bases and slid the blue striped yellow ribboned box onto Soundwave's work desk and gave a thumbs up.
They waited to see what reaction they were going to get from Soundwave but none came. After a little while of waiting the two wondered if Soundwave had even paid attention to the box at all, or even in that fact noticed it at all. Grabbed onto the edge of the desk Rumble pulled himself up to see while his brother just stood there on the tips of his bases grabbing the edge to pull himself up a bit higher to see as well. When the two finally got to see what Soundwave was doing they were taking aback a little.
"Oh." Rumble murmured in surprise.
"Aw man..." Frenzy said disappointed just a little as the two saw the Transformer who represented to them as their father was resting his head on his folded arms. He was asleep and he seemed so peaceful about it, but they noticed Soundwave seemed to have shifted a bit in his recharging state and the two decided to act fast about this. The two scrambled onto the desk and Frenzy opened the box. "Here before he wakes up!" Frenzy held up the open box and Rumble pulled out the gift, avoiding everything on the desk he walked over and placed it on Soundwave. It was a light purple hand crafted blanket, stitched on one side it said; "Sleep Tight~" with a red and darker purple pair of hearts on it. The two quickly jumped down from the desk and grabbed the box, scampering out the room, leaving Soundwave to sleep in peace with the gift they had both loving made for him.
