Goku sat meekly through his wife's tirade as Vejita watched on, both amused and abhorred. That the strongest man in the universe could just take that kind of abuse and then *apologize* for it was to him, un-fucking-believable.
Vejita's newly regenerated tail twitched as the hell-hag's high pitched squeal hit new heights. So the moron had had the first good idea outside the battle field – and after wishing back everyone's tails, got yelled at for it.
Hoping that once the harpy had reached her crescendo she would leave, Vejita let himself come back into the real world only to find that the eerie silence that had befallen was due to the fact that the source of the earlier noise seemed to be choking on her own tongue as her 'distraught' husband looked on in shock.
She was clawing at her throat, eyes almost bulging out of her head as she began to turn blue. Vejita was rather surprised to find that not only was she choking on her tongue, it seemed to be hanging out of her mouth too…
It was then he remembered that Kakarot had muttered something while the others were rejoicing about their tails… He hadn't taken any notice of it then either, too preoccupied with being whole again. Later though… he should have noticed it, when questions were asked about why the dragon had disappeared after only one wish. Kakarot had said something about needing two wishes for everyone's tails. Everyone had believed him and Vejita had completely disregarded what he had heard. Now he was having second thoughts…
Kakarot no doubt had had no clue as to *exactly* what he had been doing, but he didn't think that Kakarot looked too upset as his 'wife' began to twitch weakly in his arms. Vejita shook his head. There was no way the harridian was coming back.
Vejita looked at Kakarot and was surprised to find him looking straight back. They locked gazes, right as Chichi finally lost her battle and Vejita felt a sudden chill. Kakarot's second wish ran through his mind.
"I wish my wife wouldn't yell at me anymore"
