A/N: I know, I know, I'm a horrible person for not updating M&M in ever. But hey, "It is a truth universally acknowledged that an author has to get writer's block at some point or another. The feelings of the poor, deprived readers…" (Most overused quote, I know. But I couldn't help it!). Either that or I'm tired of slogging through the Netherfield stay. I've got Rosings set up and everything!

Anyways, now that I've finished my whole (poor) excuses thing for M&M, I'll move on to this fic. It is, as the title suggests, the Academy Awards in Pride and Prejudice. All the main characters are included in the fun, and the hostess is Jane Austen (no host, unless someone can think of one). The first few posts are the things leading up to the big day (predictions, etc.). This post is the nominations. There are only two nominees category except for the Best Picture Category, which has 3. I have omitted some of the categories (e.g. Animated Feature Film) because I couldn't think of anything for them.

Enough with the stupidly long Author's Note! Enjoy!

CA- The Oscar lineup has been announced today, and it is clear already who some of the winners will be. George Wickham (Ramsgate, Best Actor) seems like an automatic choice for the academy. He plays a charming and dashing soldier very convincingly. Too convincingly for the girl he tries to run off with, but who is saved by her brother. Later, it turns out he takes advantage of young girls.

Actress Lizzy Bennet blew the world off its feet with "Prejudice," a moving love story. Lizzy plays Betsy, a young girl who is clearly very prejudiced against the rich. Ms. Bennet plays the part exceedingly well, and is sure to win.
