Agent 8 gazed at the horizon, in awe and wonderment. Everything around her seemed to go still and silent, except for a small breeze slightly displacing her tentacle-hair. It was more beautiful than anything she had ever seen, the oranges clashing with yellows, clashing with pinks, clashing with the dark blues that used to be night. Under the sky was a luscious city. All she could make out were bumps and spikes, but it was still amazing beyond anything she could've imagined. A tapping on her shoulder snapped her back into reality. "It is, beautiful, isn't it, 8?" It was agent 3, the blue inkling agent. She turned around, confuzzled. "Huh?" She answered. "The sunrise?" 3 said again, patiently. "Huh? Oh, yeah, that!" She smiled. Then turned back around to watch the sunrise. 3 sat down, maybe a little too close to the edge of the copter that he forgot they were on. "Wah- wooaaaaAAAAHHHH!" He fell back. Marina sprung into action, grabbing 8's ink tank and octo shot, dumping them into an inactive spawn pad. It was just enough to reactivate it. 8 realized what was going on and screamed at the falling 3, "Change your color to piiiiiiiinnnk!" He gasped in realization and did so just before he hit the water. They watched his ghost fly up and into the spawn pad. His body reappeared, and the spawn pad deactivated. He stood there, shocked for a moment. "Yo, Marina? I think you just broke him." Pearl said loudly. He stopped staring into space and realized that he was alive. He was alive! He fell to the ground, gasping, which earned a bear hug from every single one of the other present agents, including the Cap'n.
