Poem from Yugi's POV set not long after Yami has gone to the afterlife
Say the words
We faced each other,
At that ancient door,
I attacked, I won,
I fell to the floor.
I cry, but then I feel you,
Your hands on my shoulders,
"You won!" You told me,
"Why are you on your knees?"
How could I tell you,
What I felt deep inside?
I thought you would hate me,
I would rather have died.
And so I write this down,
Now that you have gone,
I want you to return to me,
So I can say the words:
"I love you."
