So this is my one-shot for Smoshfan1231994's Christmas tag. I did the secret Santa for an author and I got Strawberry4life. So this is for Strawberry4life :)
Kalel sat at the log cabin table, sipping hot chocolate. Waiting for Anthony to get up. Anthony and Kalel rented a log cabin so they could have fun in the snow on Christmas. Them living in California, they don't get snow. They rented it long enough to spend time together, but short enough to get home by Christmas eve.
Kalel has a surprise planned for Anthony planned. Kalel looked at the small blue box. She knew he was going to love it. She hid the box under her coat, which was laying on the table. Kalel heard footsteps and talking.
"How did her doctor visit go?...So it was nothing? That's great!...You still coming over for Christmas?...Hell yeah! Hey I gotta go, I'll call you tonight. Bye." Anthony hung his phone and slipped it in his pocket.
"Up and dressed I see?" Kalel smiled asked Anthony and Smiled. "Yeah, I just got off the phone with Ian." Anthony laughed and took out a mug from the cabinet, making himself hot chocolate. "What did you guys talk about?" Kalel asked.
"New videos, His mom's doctors visit, Video Games, Christmas." Anthony replied, sitting down with his mug of hot chocolate. "Well, it just go done snowing outside." Kalel smiled.
"Well, how about we go outside in the snow?" Kalel asked smiling. "Hell yeah! I'll go grab my coat!" Anthony yelled and ran into the other room, getting his coat. Kalel chucked at his child-like excitement.
Kalel quickly slipped the box into her coat pocket and put it on. Zipping it up and putting on her gloves.
Anthony ran into the room with his coat and gloves on. Kalel looked at Anthony. "Why is your gloves pink?" Kalel giggled. "I asked Ian to pick me up some gloves at Walmart...There are some things you can never trust your best friend with." Anthony explained and ran out the door. Jumping face first in the grass covered in soft snow.
Kalel laughed and ran after him, shutting the door behind her. Anthony sat up, but was pushed flat on his back when Kalel tackled him.
Anthony laughed as Kalel got off of him and started to make snowballs. Anthony got up and quickly dodged a snowball. Anthony chucked as he quickly scooped up a pile of snow and balled it up. He chucked it at Kalel nearly hitting her. Kalel took one from her pile and threw it at Anthony, hitting his shoulder. "Got you!" Kalel yelled and started to make more. Anthony balled some snow up and threw it at Kalel, hitting her side. Causing the box in her pocket to fall out.
"What's that?" Anthony asked pointing to the blue box in the snow. Kalel mentally cursed herself. "It's a present for you...I was going to give it to you tonight..." Kalel picked up the box and brushed the snow off.
"But I guess you can have it now." Kalel said and handed Anthony the box. Anthony lifted up the top and saw a dog-tag necklace. Anthony took the necklace out and inspected it. Engraved in it was 'Anthony & Kalel X-X-X'
Anthony took it out of the box. "Kalel, I love it. Thank you." Anthony said as he slipped the necklace around his neck. Anthony put the box in his pocket. Anthony walked towards Kalel, wrapping his arms around her, pulling her into a kiss. "So, we have the rest of the day to ourselves." Kalel started. "Wanna go inside and snuggle up to the fire?" Kalel asked. "Hell yeah." Anthony responded and they ran inside. Spending the day together.
