So I was flipping through all my Percy Jackson books the other day, and at the back of the second book was a little extra: Percy's camp report. And so I started wondering what the other camper's reports would look like, and Camp Report was born!

Again, it's a series of oneshots, and I'll try my best to be as creative and funny as possible.

First up, it's Katie Gardner! Part of my Language Arts project for Herstory.

Hope you enjoy it :)

Dear Katie Gardner,

Below is a progress report for the summer, which we will be sent home to your parents. We are happy to report that your marks are passable, so you will not be fed to the harpies at the present time. Please review and sign for our records.

Sincerely,

Chiron, Activities Director

Dionysus, Camp Director

Monster Maiming

B+

Good work! Katie is exceptionally good at strangling monsters with plant roots. Putting her plants at risk really gets her angry.

Defense

B

Katie is improving slowly, although throwing poisonous plants at the enemy is not exactly a good strategy.

Swordfighting

C

Katie needs to learn how to properly use a sword instead of relying on vines for protection all the time.

Team Spirit

B+

Katie needs to be reminded constantly that the Stoll brothers do not deserve to be "roasted slowly over an open flame".

Greek Speak

A+

Excellent! Katie has been studying well. We would like to congratulate her on being one of the only two who managed to successfully translate "The great Archilles took the field" correctly. A real feat, seeing as her fellow camper translated it into "My grandfather's hamburger is nasty".

Chariot Racing

B-

In Katie's last race, her chariot was left in flames. But not to worry, at least it was not Greek fire.

Foot Racing

A

A job well done! Katie has an aptitude for running faster than tree nymphs. Maybe this has something to do with how she can control plants…

Archery

C-

Poor. Regardless of whether Katie fired at Connor Stoll's behind on purpose or not, she must note that the target is the bull's eye.

Javelin Throwing

B

Needs improvement. Katie needs to develop some arm muscle. Or take some from Clarisse.

Rock Climbing

B+

Quite well done. Katie seems to have developed a positive aversion to the lava underneath the rock wall.

Okay! So was it bad? Tell me in a review!

As with The Other Heroes, suggestions for the next chapters are always welcome!

Peace.
